lunch with the girls

Hi there! Emilia and I had a pretty good day today. We met a friend, Vickie, and one of her girls, Abby, for a little shopping and lunch today. Emilia started off being quiet and shy, then she let those colors shine through at lunch....tossing crayons, banging toys....it's what kids do, I guess. She is sneaky though....I started noticing a pattern....down goes a crayon, I bend over to pick it up and I see a tiny hand leaving my plate. WHAT! French fry thief. I have a french fry thief on my hands. This happened several times....and I fell for it EVERY time. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church was having a Holiday Bazaar, so we went to that and then had lunch at Harry's...yum! Once we walked back to our cars, I let Emilia out of the stroller, aka lockdown, and she and Abby had the best time. Abby is 4 and was very nice to Emilia, I think they will be fast friends. More playdates will be planned, for sure. It was so good catching up with Vickie and watching the kids play. Even if all Emilia did was run around and sit in the dirt. Photobucket Sometimes, those are the best times.
Have a great rest of the weekend!
